RayRigg Villa - Lake District, Windermere

RayRigg Villa, Windermere - Lake District Accommodation

Overlooking Ellerthwaite Square and on the edge of Windermere village is the wonderful Rayrigg Villa Guest House. Dating from 1873 (a date engraved on a plaque in the middle first floor window), the house was built as the home of a prosperous corn merchant and, though the house has been refurbished, it has lost none of its original grandeur.

Breakfast is served from 8am until 9am. There are a choice of cereals, fruit juice, apricots, grapefruit segments, prunes and fruit.

Traditional full breakfast: free range eggs, award winning local sausages and smoked bacon supplied by Huddlestones butchers, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and potato waffles. A choice of poached, boiled or scrambled eggs or beans all served with toast. Smoked haddock or kippers. Toast with conserves. Tea or coffee.
